Who You Are

  • Proven CNC machining experience.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and Go/No-Go gauges.

  • Track record of successfully multi-tasking and following detailed instructions.

  • General knowledge of safe machine tool operation.

  • Proficient in basic math, dimensioning, and tolerances.

  • Excellent time management skills to meet critical deadlines efficiently.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, often on short notice

 

What You’ll Do

Riley Technologies is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer/Operator to join our team, where you'll work on a variety of exciting projects, from modern race cars to historic and OEM components. You will be responsible for machining complex components made from steel, aluminum, and plastics, following detailed engineering drawings and CAD models.

  • Set up, operate, and program 3-Axis Okuma M560 & Mazak VTC-20B vertical mills and a 2-Axis Mazak Quick Turn 20 lathe (G-code) with Mazatrol T Plus controls or similar equipment.

  • Strong working knowledge of CNC machine programming with an eye for detail; experience with MasterCam software is a plus.

  • Work on OEM and custom automotive, aerospace, and military components to a high standard.

  • Independently perform machining tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality results.

  • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and data with precision.

  • Apply manufacturing and finishing procedures to produce high-quality machined components.

  • Show a willingness to expand your skills in other areas of machining and production.

  • Perform general day-to-day maintenance on mills and lathes.
