Who You Are

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Previous manufacturing experience is desired, particularly in composite laminating.

  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and Go/No-Go gauges for inspection.

  • Proven track record of multi-tasking and following detailed instructions.

  • Familiarity with safe use of processing tools such as deburr tools and presses.

  • Ability to understand the logical flow of part manufacturing and cross-training.

  • Knowledge of basic math, dimensioning, and tolerances.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to expand your skills and take on additional tasks in composite production.

  • Take pride in delivering high-quality products and strive for continuous improvement.

  • Mold-making experience and/or kit cutting experience using an Eastman type machine is a plus.

 

What You’ll Do

Working with pre-preg carbon fiber, you will be responsible for kitting, layup, bagging, and de-bagging components based on complex engineering drawings and molds to produce high-precision composite parts. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in composite manufacturing within sectors such as Motorsport, Aerospace, Aviation, Marine, or Defense.

  • Perform carbon pre-preg layup with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Read and interpret complex engineering technical drawings accurately.

  • Prep molds and raw materials for lamination, using release agents and sealing methods.

  • Follow step-by-step lay-up processes for single and multi-laminate composite schedules.

  • Prepare molds and parts for vacuum bagging and de-bagging cured parts.

  • Understand and apply standard procedures related to laminating, carbon manufacturing, and finishing.
