Who You Are

  • Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the motorsports, military, or automotive industries.

  • Prior experience in manufacturing is required.

  • Strong background in design engineering.

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive or motorsport mechanical systems.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities across diverse challenges.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with FEA and CFD software is a plus.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

  • Ability to research and select components suited to specific design needs.

 

What You’ll Do

Riley Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and supporting our manufacturing department, working on everything from modern race vehicles to historic restorations.

We are looking for a candidate with experience using Siemens NX, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software. You'll be responsible for creating detailed CAD models and engineering drawings for CNC machining, water/laser cutting, and fabrication, as well as providing innovative engineering solutions for challenges in vehicle design.

  • Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D engineering drawings, including defining and documenting manufacturing specifications.

  • Produce detailed engineering drawings to meet high industry standards.

  • Support vehicle build and production with manufacturing information to aid in the assembly process.

  • Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing teams to ensure timely, accurate production of components.

  • Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).
